Marketing & a Customer Service Mindset
    November 2-3, 2017

This year’s Fall Conference promises to be a game changer for both the savvy veterans and those new to school communications. The primary focus of the conference is two-fold: “Marketing and a Customer Service Mindset.” Those of us who work in public education know that not only must our schools provide outstanding value in student academics, but also in the quality of service we provide to our “customers” (students and parents).

Our primary presenter is Mr. Jim Cummings, APR. Jim is a past NSPRA President and he has tremendous personal experience in the world of promoting public schools in a very competitive market. Jim is the director of communications and parent and community engagement for the Glendale (Ariz.) Elementary School District. Registrants for the conference will also hear marketing and customer service mindset tips from Jeff Greene of Chick-fil-A.

As in the past, the Fall Conference is an opportunity to be immersed in a single subject. Be prepared to dive deep and come away with both practical, usable materials and deeper level ideas to ponder.

    A PR – Legal Pre-conference session is scheduled for Thursday morning, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

A pre-conference session is scheduled for Thursday morning, November 2 on PR-Legal Issues. This two-hour session will engage members in how to address important, and often, sensitive issues from both the legal and public relations/communications point of view. There is an additional fee of $25 to attend this pre-conference session.

Ghost Tour of Old St. Charles
